Round table hire covers three different jobs at an event, and diameter is what separates them. Banqueting rounds seat guests for a meal. Bistro rounds turn a catering area into somewhere people will actually sit down. Low round tables finish a lounge or breakout space. This range holds all three, and we deliver them across the UK.
Choosing a size for dining
For seated dining the diameter decides your cover count, so the table plan usually works backwards from it. A three-foot round seats two to four and suits cabaret layouts, cake tables and gift tables at the edge of a room. A five-foot round seats eight to ten and is the standard gala dinner table, the one most awards nights and conference lunches are built around. A six-foot round seats ten to twelve, which is what you reach for when the guest list is longer than the floor space is wide.
All three have folding legs and stack for transport, and we hold them in quantity, so a large dinner is one order rather than several. Floor-length linen is available to match, including a 130" round cloth sized for the larger diameters.
Round tables for exhibitions and conferences
Away from dining, round tables do quieter work. Our Meridian bistro tables come at 600mm for two covers and 800mm for four, which is the difference between fitting a coffee point along a narrow wall and seating a proper catering area. The Keystone in black and gold, and the aluminium Atlas, cover the same job where the finish matters more.
For breakout and dining areas that want some design consistency, the Eames DSW round tables pair with the matching DSW chairs in black or white. In lounges and hospitality suites, the round coffee tables give guests somewhere to put a drink, a brochure or a laptop without needing a full dining setup.
